The UN Special Adviser on Libya, Stephanie Williams, said on Friday that she, together with the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister, Sedat Önal, and the Special Envoy, Can Dizdar share the view on the need for a coherent and inclusive regional and international support to Libya which builds on the progress of the ongoing intra-Libyan dialogue.

Williams described in a tweet her meeting with the Turkish officials in Ankara as fruitful, referring to the political developments in Libya and options for moving forward with the electoral process.

"We stressed the need to reinforce the spirit of compromise among Libyan actors for the collective good of the country," the UN Rep. added.
