Turkish Defense Minister, Hulusi Akar has stated that Ankara is determined to continue to stand by Libya and Azerbaijan to support their causes.

Akar added in a statement coinciding with the visit of the Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbeibah to Turkey, that their soldiers are not foreigners in Libya, but rather continue their activities there at the request of the government.

“Everyone should be aware of the existence of military and educational cooperation, and consultations provided by Turkey for the benefit of the government in accordance with the understandings between the two parties”, he said.

Akar also noted that what his country is doing in Libya is similar to what other countries do in different tasks, but there are those who insist on not understanding it because they are doing their best to defame Turkey.
