The Foreign Ministry said a meeting between Turkish deputy foreign ministers, UN envoy to Libya Jan Kubis and Putin's Middle East and North Africa envoy Mikhail Bogdanov, was held on Monday.

It added that the officials had reiterated the importance of boosting efforts to support Libya elections to be held on December 24 under the auspices of the UN.

They also stressed support for the Libyan Government of National Unity and its apparatuses, urging for a shared vision ahead of Berlin II Conference on June 23.
