The Turkish National Security Council (MGK) said on Tuesday it will continue providing military consultations and support to the legitimate Government of National Accord (GNA) in Libya until peace is achieved.
The MGK, headed by the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, added that Turkey would continue to protect its interests by land, sea and air without concessions.
It indicated in an urgent meeting on Tuesday, which was held in Ankara, that it discussed the positions taken by countries hostile to Turkey’s legitimate activities in the Mediterranean, according to the statement.
