The Turkish Ambassador to Libya, Serhat Aksen, has presented the expertise of Turkish electrical companies to reach, at least a partial solution to the electricity problem in Libya, putting forward a firm set of proposals which contribute to the stability of the electrical network.

This came during his meeting with the CEO of the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL), Ali Sassi, who promised to present these proposals to the Presidential Council for approval, in preparation for their implementation.

Several cities in western Libya including Tripoli are facing an outage crisis that lasts for more than 12 hours every day.
