The Libyan Embassy in Ankara announced that travellers arriving in Turkey will be subject to new measures imposed by the Turkish authorities, which will include proof of results of a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test for the Coronavirus, beginning next Monday.

The Turkish Airport Civil Aviation Directorate has stipulated that the test results must have been conducted at most three days prior to the date of travel as a maximum and seven-day quarantine will be imposed on those incapable of receiving the test in their place of residence.

In the event of no provision of an address in Turkey, the travellers will be expected to isolate in a place determined by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
