Chairman of the Presidential Council, Fayaz Al-Sarraj, received a telephone call from the Turkish Prime Minister, Binali Yildirm, on Saturday to discuss the abduction of three Turkish engineers in southern Libya.

In the same context, Al-Sarraj met on Sunday with the Ambassador of Turkey to Libya, Ahmet Dogan and officials of the Turkish company " ENKA Teknik " executing the project of Ubari gas-fired power plant in Tripoli.

According to Al-Sarraj’ press office, Ambassador Dogan said that the project is in its final stages, hoping that the incident will not affect the process of the work.

"Our aim is to complete the project, which is a vital achievement for the Libyan economy", he said, expressing hope that security efforts will be successful in bringing the incident to a quick end.
