Tunisian presidency has denied news that the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan had requested his Tunisian counterpart, Kais Saied to use the Tunisian air and sea space to interfere in Libya.

The Tunisian presidency underscored in a statement that Turkey did not request or raise such issue with Tunisia at all.

It described such acts as attempts to strike the credibility of the state, reiterating its keenness on its national sovereignty and its adherence to international legitimacy and to spare the people of the region disunion and division, according to the statement.
