Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has denounced the decision of the Greek government to expel the Libyan ambassador, describing the step as a "shameful and immature".

"This is outrageous,” he said, adding that the decision shows the real face of Athens.

This came during a press statement at the 5th Mediterranean Dialogues, which took place on Friday in the Italian capital of Rome.

Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu met on the sidelines of the Dialogues the United Nations envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salame where they discussed developments of the Libyan file.
