The Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, along with his Maltese counterpart, Evarist Bartolo, said in a joint press conference on Tuesday that Turkey and Malta want peace and stability in Libya and the eastern Mediterranean region.
Cavusoglu stated that stability in Libya is paramount for Malta, adding that any negative developments in Libya could have a major impact on Malta.
He urged the Government of National Accord (GNA) and Malta to continue cooperation between both countries.
