The Special Deterrent Force handed over the Tunisian child, Tamim Jendoubi, who lost his parents in the clashes with ISIS in the town of Sabratha in early 2016, according to the official Facebook page of the force.
The Special Deterrent Force explained that the extradition process was carried out in accordance with all legal procedures as the order was handed down by the Attorney General's Office.
Tamim Jendoubi was handed over to his grandfather, Fawzi Trabelsi, in the presence of a delegation from the Tunisian government.
The force added that the Tunisian delegation promised to complete any remaining procedures for the rest of the Tunisian prisoners with their children who are at Libyan jails.
