Tunisian President, Kais Saied received Monday, Emirati Foreign Minister, Abdullah bin Zayed and discussed with him ways of implementing the outputs of the Berlin conference.

Both sides agreed on the need for parties concerned with the Libyan conflict to abide strictly to the cease-fire, within the framework of a Libyan-Libyan political solution, according to a statement by the Tunisian Presidency.

The statement conveyed the parties' affirmation of the importance of coordination between the two countries to find a peaceful solution that would end this crisis and contribute to ending the bloodshed of the Libyan people.

The UAE is a strong backer of warlord Khalifa Haftar and his war on Tripoli.
