Tunisian President Kais Saied on Tuesday discussed with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier the current happenings in Libya.

The talks came during a phone call between the two leaders, in which they reviewed several regional issues, the most prominent of which was the Libyan file, according to a statement by the Tunisian Presidency.

Saied stressed to the German President that legitimacy in Libya could only be pure Libyan, without the interference of any foreign power, the statement added.
