Foreign ministers of Tunisia and Italy discussed the "positive developments" in Libya during talks held in Rome on Friday, a statement by the Tunisian Foreign Ministry said.

The statement explained that the discussions took place during a working session that brought the two ministers together at the Italian Foreign Ministry HQ.

 According to the statement, the Tunisian Foreign minister Othman Al-Jarandi and his Italian counterpart Luigi Di Maio stressed the importance of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries on the Libyan file, especially in light of the positive developments it is witnessing.
