The foreign ministers of Tunisia and Algeria, Othman Jerandi and Ramtan Lamamra, have emphasized continued support for efforts to push the Libyan political track forward.

In a phone call, the two sides stressed their keenness to see Libya recover and regain its position in the Arab world and the region, away from any foreign interference.

The two ministers agreed that the solution in Libya should be through constructive dialogue between the various domestic parties, stressing that it is essential to keep "the mechanism of the Libyan neighbouring countries effective," to help the country reach the necessary consensus.
