Tunisair has postponed the return of its flights to Libyan airports indefinitely pending a new decision on the resumption of this route, the Executive Director of the flag carrier airline of Tunisia Jamal Al-Shuraiqi confirmed.

Al-Shuraiqi explained in a statement Friday that Tunisair was preparing to carry out flights to about three Libyan airports during September, following a report from the technical committee conducted last April that confirmed the logistical and operational readiness of Libyan airports to receive flights, however, the latest security developments in Libya prevented the implementation of this plan.
