Mediation efforts have succeeded in the late hours of Wednesday to persuade the fighting groups in southern Tripoli to establish an armistice agreement, identical sources reported.

The sources pointed out that the truce will last for three days; moreover, an agreement to the entry of a neutral force led by the Commander of the Central Region, Major General Mohammed Al-Haddad to the conflict area, south of the capital.

The southern district of Tripoli is witnessing, for the third day, violent clashes between the Tripoli Revolutionaries' Brigade and the Seventh Brigade form Tarhouna, which left a number of casualties, including dead and wounded, as well as terrorizing civilians, who were obliged to abandon their homes in order to escape the violence.
