Tripoli security department said it did not license the demonstrations of Friday, saying it was surprised to see a group of people aiming at provoking division and forging the calls of Tripoli locals.
It said it is against the rule of military and dictatorship.
A group of security personnel dispersed the demonstration by gunshots in the air as some people held pro-Haftar slogans after they said the demonstration is for ending the existence of armed groups in Tripoli.
No injuries in the Friday shooting were registered.
