The crisis committee tasked with following up the coastal road file in Zawiya city confirmed Saturday the closing of the coastal road for the fourth day in a row.
The head of the committee Muhsin al-Zwick explained in a press statement that the road was blocked with sand barriers by the families of some of the suspects in the children of Sharshari case who were detained by the Special Deterrence Force in Tripoli, adding that the families are demanding to refer their sons to the Public Prosecutor and to have permission to visit them.
The committee includes the Councils of Elders and Notables, the Shura Council and the Operation Room of the Western region, in addition to the Local Council of Zawiya.
