Tripoli hosted on Tuesday the second scientific conference for non-oil exports under the supervision of the Libyan Export Development Center, with the participation of heads of oil and industrial companies, institutions, researchers, and stakeholders.

The conference aims to shed light on the obstacles and difficulties facing non-oil exports, such as dates, olive oil, and fruits, and to discuss coordination to find a mechanism for accessing global markets.

Panelists included representatives from Australia and Tunisia who presented research papers through the Zoom platform.

The event featured an exhibition to introduce Libyan industries, with the participation of the Iron and Steel Company, the Misrata Free Zone, and products of other food and agricultural processing factories.
