Tripoli Court of Appeal postponed Sunday, the judgment on the case well known as "The Abu Salim Massacre", to December 15, confirming it is still under deliberation by the Court.

The association of "The Families of the Martyrs of Abu Salim Prison Massacre" held in late October, a seminar on the massacre to restore the public and media momentum on this crime, as well as to shed light on the humanitarian aspect of the issue and clarify its dimensions and details to the public, amid official secrecy on the case and trial, according to the association.

Around 1269 political prisoners were killed by former Gaddafi regime in 1996 inside Abu Salim Prison in Tripoli.
