Crowds gathered in the Martyrs Square of Tripoli on Friday to celebrate the first anniversary of the victory against Haftar's forces in the conflict to liberate southern Tripoli and Tarhouna, which ended Haftar's presence in the western region.

Families of victims and martyrs who sacrificed their lives to defend the capital joined the celebrations and expressed their joy at the victory against the aggressor forces.

They also demanded to hold the aggressors accountable for the killing of defenseless civilians, the targeting of residential neighborhoods, the destruction of buildings, and the displacement of hundreds of thousands.
