The Tripoli-based House of Representatives (HoR) has accepted the lawsuit of war crimes filed by Libyan nationals against Khalifa Haftar at a US court.
The HoR said in a statement that the members agreed on the lawsuit after recommendations by the American lawyer, who also said the lawsuit endorsement should be made public on Libyan media outlets.
Four Libyan families have lodged a lawsuit against Haftar at a federal court in the US for war crimes, referring to the killing of their family members in indiscriminate shelling by Haftar's forces on Tripoli.
