Tripoli-based House of Representatives (HoR) extended in its session held Monday the period of its presidency for another 60 days, provided that a new presidency is to be elected for the next stage two months from now, according to the media office of the HoR.
Last June, the HoR gave confidence to speaker Sadiq Al-Kahili and approved the principle of the parliamentary session for the presidency of the House for six months, renewable for the same period.
