The Telecom Holding Company announced a complete interruption of communications from the southern region and also partially from the eastern region on Friday, June 11, stressing that its maintenance teams are presently handling the situation.
The company explained on its official Facebook page, that the shut-down occurred due to the severing of part of the fiber-optic cable, noting that the maintenance teams have identified the location of the problem and are presently conducting maintenance to resolve the issue.
It went on to say that it is confident that the maintenance process will be completed at the earliest possible juncture.
