Tobruk District Court ruled that the lawsuit filed by Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi against the member of the House of Representatives for the city of Benghazi, Abu Bakr Baira, has not been accepted.
Saif filed the lawsuit against Baira for what he described as defamation when Baira claimed that Saif received his certificate from the London School of Economics fraudulently.
The lawyer of Saif, Khalid Zaidi, confirmed that the family of Muammar Gaddafi retains the legal right to prosecute anyone who defamed the family or filed fake testimonies against them.
