The Speaker of Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh has urged the Egyptian parliament to call on the Egyptian armed forces to intervene in Libya.

During his attendance at the Egyptian parliament session, Saleh said that the GNA has fallen two years ago, as well as the Skhirat agreement, which is contrary to the constitutional declaration, as he described.

"We may call for Egyptian armed forces intervention in Libya to confront foreign intervention in the country," he said.

Aqila Saleh attended, on Sunday, a session of the Egyptian parliament, but he failed to attend the last session of the Tobruk-based parliament, which was held in Benghazi.
