The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has confirmed the death of three migrants, along with the loss of 13 others after their inflatable boat capsized off the coast of Libya.

The IOM further explained that those who lost two Syrians a migrant from Ghana.

The organization noted that 22 refugees and migrants survived the dreadful incident and were returned back to Libyan soil.

it further noted that since the beginning of this year, at least 900 migrants and refugees have lost their lives in the Mediterranean Sea, the majority of them off the coast of Libya.
