The Border Guards in the east region have found the bodies of three Egyptians in the desert, about 100 km from the area of Jaghbub, according to Libyan authorities in the east.

The Libyan Customs said in a press statement that Jaghbub police station was informed on the disappearance of these Egyptian citizens on July 20, explaining that the border guards managed to identify the bodies through their identity cards that were found with them.

It further added that the bodies have been decomposed as a result of solar heat, pointing out that the victims seemed to have died of hunger and thirst, as a result for taking desert paths to enter the country illegally.
