The National Board for Technical and Vocational Education has postponed the date it had set previously to resume studies, to a later date after Eid Al-Adha holiday.

The step aims to give more time for the technical offices working to implement the precautionary measures related to the Coronavirus pandemic, so as to ensure that students will be studying in a healthy environment, explained a statement by the commission on Tuesday.

It requested the management of technical junior colleges to notify students of this delay and expedite efforts to complete all required work, in a manner that guarantees a safe start to the remainder of the academic year 2019-2020.

Many education institutions in Tripoli and its environs have suspended classes due to the offensive launched by Haftar and his militias against the city, before the authorities ordered a total lockdown as a precautionary measure to contain the Coronavirus pandemic.
