Vice presidents of the Presidential Council (PC), Abdullah Al-Lafi and Moussa Al-Koni, have met with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune during their two-day visit to Algeria.

The Algerian President affirmed his country's keenness on security and stability in Libya and its support for the unification of the military institution and the dialogue leading to national reconciliation and elections.

A statement by the PC said that the two sides discussed bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation in various fields.

Al-Lafi and Al-Koni's official visit to Algeria comes within the framework of the ongoing consultations that the Presidential Council is conducting with neighboring countries, for the security and stability of Libya, according to the PC statement.
