The Social Council of Tabu Tribes of in the city of Ubari has called on the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, Mustafa Sanallah to apologize for his call to the Tabu tribes to release the workers who were abducted from the Sharara oil field, describing his remarks as unfounded.

The council added in a statement on Wednesday that the recent kidnapping was carried out outside the control areas of the Tebu and they have no connection to it in any way.

The statement added that they will visit the headquarters of the NOC to demand the source of this claim, stressing their right to follow the information they gain through legal means.
