The Spokesman for the Sudanese Rapid Support Forces, Jamal Jumaa, announced that a joint security force managed to arrest 122 people, amongst whom were eight children, who were attempting to work as mercenaries in Libya.

Jumaa said in a statement to the Sudanese News Agency on Sunday, that the arrest came after the Supreme Security Committee received documented information that a number of Sudanese citizens were being recruited to work as mercenaries in Libya.

He added that the incentive for those who joined the ranks of the mercenaries was purely of a financial nature, as he put it.
