The Sudanese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi, has stressed the need to find executive mechanisms for the Libya Stability Initiative.

This came during her meeting with the Algerian President, Abdel Majid Tebboune on the sidelines of the meeting of foreign ministers of Libya's neighboring countries, during which she praised Algeria's efforts to bring neighboring countries together in the Algerian capital.

Al-Mahdi explained that “the southern Libyan neighboring countries were absent from what is happening in Libya, despite their direct impact on the situation there”, stressing that the stability of the border countries with Libya depends on the situation there.
