Management of Benina International Airport in Benghazi announced on Sunday the suspension of work in all the airport’s departments, starting today.
The employees of the airport issued a statement on November 5 demanding financial support from the concerned authorities in order to carry out maintenance and construction work at the airport, as well as to pay off the accumulated debt and activate the stalled projects, threatening to take further steps, including declaring a complete closure of the airport, if their demands were not met.
