Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aqailah Saleh, called Monday on the acting Public Prosecutor of Al-Thanni's government in the east, to initiate a criminal lawsuit against the head of the Audit Bureau in Tripoli, Khalid Shakshak and the head of the Administrative Control Authority in Tripoli, Nasr Hussein Saleh.

Saleh alleged that the two Tripoli officials are "power usurpers" and are accused of committing criminal offences listed under the Penal Law, according to Al-Thanni government’s news agency.

The Tobruk-based parliament exempted late in 2014 both Shakshak and Hussein from their positions and set two substitutes for them in the city of Bayda. However, the exemption remained mere ink on paper.
