The European Union's Commission has nominated Spanish diplomat Jose Sabadell for the post of Head of European Union's delegation to Libya to replace Maltese diplomat Alan Bugeja.
The announcement came in a statement by the foreign work committee of the EU Commission, which included other appointments and candidacies as per instructions from High Representative of Foreign Policy of the EU Josep Borrell.
Italian news agency, Aki, said the Spanish diplomat was the Head of political planning bureau at the Spanish Foreign Ministry.
