The Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Maiteeq received on Sunday the Spanish ambassador to Libya, Javier García-Larrache.
Larrache confirmed the depth of Libyan-Spanish relations and the desire of Spanish companies to resume their work in Libya following the resumption of work of his country's embassy in Tripoli at the beginning of next year.
Maiteeg also confirmed the Government of National Accord's keenness to work on strengthening cooperation with Spain in several fields.
“Maiteeg accepted the invitation made by the Spanish ambassador to visit Spain”, according to the PC’s media office.
