A group of military officers and a number of security agencies in the areas known as the basin of Murzuq in southern Libya have formed a joint security room to control security in the region and to protect the borders.
The officers affirmed the commitment of the joint security room to cooperate fully with all adjacent areas to the Murzuq basin and to alleviate the suffering of citizens while working with support of all official institutions of the state.
In turn, the Social Council of Murzuq declared that it would be the social incubator of all military formations in the region, adding that the aim of this security movement is to activate security and maintain stability in the Murzuq basin area.
