The World Health Organization (WHO) office in Libya announced on Monday that it had provided two mechanical ventilators with their accessories to the Traghan Hospital, southern Libya.

According to the office’s official Facebook page, the two ventilators will support the intensive care unit in cases requiring spontaneous respiration, noting the aid supply was provided by the Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF).

The office confirmed their commitment to sustained support for the health sector throughout Libya, pointing out that the town of Traghan is one of the most vulnerable areas regarding medical services in Libya.
