The Minister of Interior of the Presidential Council, Abdul Salam Ashour, confirmed the possibility of the return of the South Korean embassy to work from within Libya, pledging to provide protection to Korean companies wishing to return to complete projects in the country.

This confirmation by Ashour came during his meeting with the ambassador of South Korea to Libya at the Interior Ministry in the capital Tripoli.

The Libyan Interior Ministry stated on their official Facebook page that Ashour confirmed after his meeting with the Korean ambassador the importance of security cooperation between Libya and South Korea, and the importance of ways to develop cooperation in the security field between the two countries.
