The South Korean ambassador to Libya has announced that his country's embassy will begin working from Tripoli in early September.

The announcement came during a meeting with the Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Mietieq on Tuesday afternoon in Tripoli.

According to the Information Office of the Presidential Council, the South Korean ambassador pointed out that his country has given the green light to the companies executing housing projects and the construction of housing units to return and complete their projects in Libya.

The Information Office added that the meeting dealt with ways to develop aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in various fields and practical steps on the return of Korean companies.
