Residents of Souk Al-Jum'aa queued up on Saturday morning to vote again in the municipal council elections after the outcomes in four polling stations were rejected by the relevant authorities.

The Municipal Elections Committee ordered to carry out a re-run election in four polling stations namely; Bashir Al-Osta, Khalifa Al-Hajjaji, Talaa Al-Fateh, and Sharafat Al-Malha.

Souk al-Jum'aa elected its municipal council in early April, but the outcomes were rejected because of "breaches" according to the Municipal Elections Committee.
