Sorman Protection Force of the Libyan Army has announced that the liberation of Sorman from Haftar’s followers is irreversible, reaffirming their attachment to the stability of the city.
In a statement addressed to the locals on Friday, the force said that it has no intention to seek revenge. It called on those who are fighting alongside Haftar to give up their weapons and not to let themselves be drawn into this war.
It also confirmed its rejection of Haftar's aggression against its neighboring cities, stressing that Sorman will only be the city of peace, under the Government of National Accord, according to the statement.
