The head of the Social Council of Murzuk Muhammed Leno accused Dignity Operation leadership of attempting to annihilate the tribe of Tabu through launching a military operation in the south.
"The Tabu welcomes any operation aimed at cleansing the region of foreign and terrorist gangs, however, Haftar's forces have formed a tribal brigade to target the Tabu component," Murzuk Social Council head told Libya Ahrar channel.
He also warned against the escalation of violence in the region if the attacking forces refuse to withdraw.
