Libyan Foreign Minister Muhammad Siyala affirmed in a letter to his American counterpart Michael Pompeo, that the Government of National Accord (GNA) will commit to all agreements reached in the security, military, political, economic, and humanitarian track.

Siyala's letter came in response to the congratulations offered by Pompeo on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Libya's independence, according to the information department of Libya's Foreign Ministry.

He also emphasized the necessity to concert efforts to meet the democratic and constitutional requirements that would lead to presidential and parliamentary elections.

The Libyan Foreign Minister further praised the US efforts in supporting the political process in Libya.
