The Spokesman of the Protection Force of Sirte, Salem Al-Ameel, said that a military patrol of the force had seized trucks loaded with fuel on their way to be smuggled to countries south of the Libyan Desert.
In a press statement, Al-Ameel clarified that the force arrested men driving three trucks and two small cars loaded with fuel, noting that the payload amounts to 90 thousand litres of gasoline and diesel.
He pointed out that the security authorities confiscated the trucks and referred the smugglers to the competent authorities for investigation.
