The Commander of the Protection Force of Sirte, Al Na'as Abdullah announced that the members of the force had ended their sit-in outside the Municipality's HQ of Sirte.
Al Na'as clarified in a press statement that the decision came after receiving promises from the Finance Ministry to pay 6 months out of 15 months of their salary arrears.
On Tuesday, members of the force closed the administrative complex of Sirte Municipality and gave the Presidential Council (PC) 24 hours to respond to their demands and have their back wages paid; otherwise all institutions in the city would be closed.
