The Sirte-Jufra Operations Room announced that the Libyan Army Forces, under the Government of National Accord (GNA), are presently carrying out reconnaissance operations in order to maintain security and monitor movements by Haftar’s militias and their Russian Wagner groups.
The operations room said in a statement that patrols were carried out in the desert areas near Abu Grain, following on through Al-Washeka and reaching as far as Boirat Al-Hassoun in the south of the city of Sirte.
It indicated that these operations are an implementation of the duties assigned to them, within the framework of maintaining security and peace in the region.
