Unknown persons set Shiekha Radiya mosque on fire in Sidi Khalifa in Tripoli on Tuesday early morning.

According to the residents, the fire broke late at night before dawn and the unknown persons targeted the zawiya of the mosque and the hall that are used for Sufism ceremonies.

It is highly likely that the ones who set the mosque ablaze are followers of Salafism and Madkhalism and aimed the fire as a message to the Sufism followers as a ban for the upcoming ceremonies of the Mawlid of Prophet Mohammed on Thursday.
